Invitation to the Gloucester Road Coronation street party

We are pleased to invite you to join us at the Gloucester Road street party on Sunday, 7 May 2023 to mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation. This free-to-enter community event will be held on the Gloucester Road, between Kynance Place and Queen’s Gate Terrace and include a children’s play area in Queen’s Gate Gardens.

Running from noon until 5pm, the street will be decked in bunting and include market stalls featuring your favourite local shops. There will be something for the whole family, with face painters, live musical entertainment and circus acts. Please note the road will be closed between 9am and 8pm with a diversion in place during this time.

We have worked with Partridges, Fay Campbell Events and the Queen’s Gate Garden Committee to make this a memorable occasion worthy of a Royal Borough.

As your ward councillors, we want to build and strengthen relationships in our neighbourhood. We hope this event will be the start of our vision to make the Gloucester Road the focal meeting point of our community again.

We all live locally and it is a privilege to represent this beautiful neighbourhood. We hope that you will be able to attend and look forward to seeing you on 7 May.
